      Pros

      You can have a flexible schedule, you get to work with some interesting people, you can get a good education and work experience

      Cons

      This is not a great time to be in academia. There is a lot of 'dead wood' especially in admin.

      Pros

      Davis is a beautiful city. It is very safe. It has very good weather. It is very close to big metropolis. One can get a decent degree

      Cons

      For getting a degree, Professors clearly exploit the life of students and makes it that does not worth to get a degree. Most of the porfessor has the attitude of you will get a degree and I will make you pay for it towards graduate students.

      Pros

      They're very lenient about work hours. They know school will come first to students. They don't mind working with you until you get the hang of things.

      Cons

      You will be asked to do the same task over and over. Additionally, planning isn't the greatest, especially for minor projects and you may actually be asked to do something and then promptly un do it. It's kinda ridiculous.
