      Pros

      Faculty commitment towards student progress is great. Faculty efforts to bring funding to the departments is great, specially in engineering.

      Cons

      University/State employees who are mostly present in permanent positions are inefficient and although they are cordial in their behavior, they are very slow.

      Pros

      First of all, it is one of UC's. Good reputation at both national and international levels. Location is also great. Less than 2 hours to Bay area, and 30 minutes to the state capital. People are friendly and tolerant in general.

      Cons

      High living expenses. It is true that Davis is cheaper than most of places in Bay area, but life is kind of tough for low-level employees.
