Pros

The work is autonomous, very interesting, and fun to work on. Biggest difference between graduate school and post doc is no more course requirements and slightly more pay.

Cons

Research in a bubble. Many people will not be able to easily understand what you work on. the work environment is probably too isolated.

- Students can be slow (compared to other schools) - School's Wi-Fi network will frequently not work... - School's servers also constantly go down.. No reliability
