      Excellent full-time benefits, decent pay, but advancement (as staff) without a PhD is difficult.

      - Benefits for full time staff. - Competitive salary, especially given the area. - Secure employment for full time staff. - State of the art facilities and equipment.

      - Difficulties advancing or achieving the next step in the job title for non-union members. - Performance based pay increases are a rarity. - Campus politics can impede improvements in the workplace.

      Growing school with tons of potential

      Pros

      Awesome building with hi-tech equipment. My lab is amazing with huge glass windows looking out over the campus. Nice gym with plenty of equipment and never overcrowded. I have an awesome and understanding advisor that is always available.

      Cons

      The town has almost no night life and the common attitude among most residents is still sort of a farm town. The heat is intense in the summer it has been over 105 for the past week. Lots of construction happening around campus. Not very well known or prestigious (but this will change one day)
