Newest campus of the University of California system. Funding for students (both undergraduate and graduate) seems to be better than at most other UC campuses. More diverse than other UC campuses.

Cons

Located in a very isolated and culturally devoid area. The academic quality of the undergraduate students are noticeably lower than at other UC campuses.
