      Better benefits and more holidays than the private sector

      Cons

      Lower pay, inefficient work flows, and compartmentalized workflows leading to excessive repetition. Abuse of public funds, grants and trusts. Unenforced policies and discriminatory practices. Numerous, unprofessional, unskilled mid-level management are drunk with power.

      Pros

      Great place to work. Especially if you have good supervisors. Very understanding of personal life and I appreciate work life balance.

      Cons

      Pay at ucr is on the low end. Full benefits are a huge perk but the pay I take home is not up to par with other companies.
