Pros

The campus is diverse and the students are awesome to work with. It is very rewarding to see non traditional or first generation students find their dream job or get into graduate school.

Cons

The salaries are not high enough to live comfortably in Southern California. Especially in Riverside. Some departments are not supportive of hybrid schedules even though most meetings are online.
