Pros

As a student, it is convenient to have a job located at your school. The pay is not bad, I make $10/thour for screening movies. But it's only a 3 hour job, sometimes the movie won't last that long, so I'll make $10 or $20 per week.

Cons

The people in charge of payroll are not always on top of their work and don't always answer your e-mails in an appropriate time manner. It is also difficult to land a job at school. Most of the jobs on campus are work-study only, and when you're "too rich for work study" that does affect your chances at landing a job. Even when you have work-study, the competition is fierce. I applied to several jobs my freshman year of college only to get rejected due to lack of experience, the same situation applied throughout the next three years. How was I to land a job, when no one wanted to give me a chance. Eventually, I did manage to get a job, one that did not require an interview. One of my professors needed someone to be a projectionist for his class, so I asked for the job and got it.
