Pros

You have almost full control of your schedule, you just need to input your class schedule at the start of each quarter and choose which hours you prefer to work. During finals week you have complete control of your work schedule. It’s also really easy to pick up shifts and trade shifts.

Cons

Unless you pick up a double shift (which aren’t that common) you’ll only be working 3 hour shifts. At least this is what it was like being assigned at The Market. You don’t get to choose where on campus you can want to work and it’s not easy to switch locations. If you’re a commuter like me, then you’ll be better off working closer to home. It’s also NOT a liveable wage since you’re only assigned about 9 hours a week. This job is most ideal for someone living on campus looking for spending money.
