Pros

You get school holiday off as well.

Cons

No one speaks ups for you every man’s for himself they take advantage of you and just care about NUMBERS patient care is poor due to over worked staff and leaves ROOM FOR ERROR !! if you speak up they retaliate against you so if you want to work under pressure constantly this is the place for you !

Pros

I worked as an HSA(Housing Services Ambassador) from 2021-2022; this was the first year that UC Riverside opened back up, since the pandemic. However, the management was professional and welcoming, despite the initial scramble to adjust the department for in-person services. The hours were extremely flexible, and the work environment was relaxed and friendly.

Cons

Late shifts were rather slow, although there's no one really to blame for that.

Pros

There are many computer science research opportunities at UCR including those for software engineering all the way to machine learning.

Cons

The only downside would be that there are not many people wanting to do undergraduate research in computer science. This can also be seen as a pro.
