Good Environment, Poor Pay

Pros

I really liked the working environment. My lab especially did well during the brunt of the pandemic. The benefits are really great.

Cons

UC is pretty demanding in terms of job requirements and pay isn't that great. At this point, you could work in fast food and make close to starting pay at a UC.

Pros

The boss in charge of our office was great, and actively helped us strive as both a student and a worker. Mostly great experience.

Cons

Upper management was adamant on retaining an employee who worked with us. They were often late, absent, or mismanaged their work, which would result in costs to the students or lack of financial aid, putting many of us at risk, for multiple quarters in a row.
