Pros

Great people to work with, great students to work with. The campus is beautiful and enjoyable to walk around. Most of the people who work here are really committed to helping students.

Cons

Severely understaffed campus compared to other UC schools. This leads to a horrible workload for those who do work here, leading to low morale. School here is dominated by faculty who cannot agree on anything. For instance, UCR has had a plan to standardize the General Education requirements across degrees for over 20 years! Ridiculous. Staff is rarely considered compared to faculty and students, even though we make sure the school runs efficiently, even when understaffed and exhausted. It's a shame because this is such a great school with so much potential.
