Pros

Decent equipment and passionate students. Nice campus with good food options. Buildings were well maintained most of the time.

Cons

Poor accounting left graduate workers missing checks or paid wrong amounts regularly. Weird funding regulations meant that fees were paid in often questionable ways. Very little accountability on professors or administration

Pros

- Development of nanostructures based ultrasensitive and highly-selective sensors to identify and quantify Air Quality Index. - Expertise in synthesis and characterization of inorganic materials and polymer composites for the applications in energy storage including Li-ion batteries, supercapacitors and Li-air batteries.

Cons

The Ph.D. experience in UCR trained me to be a good engineer and researcher in nanotechnology-enabled sensors and energy storage devices.
