Pros
The campus in general has a lot employment opportunities for students. They are all better paid than minimum wage jobs outside campus such as cashier or fast food makers. They work around your school schedule and are very nice to you. Their tolerance and diversity culture really changes your view on a lot things. I would recommend students who are in school to take on a part time job here.
Cons
It all depends on the department and professors you work with. Some of the professors want you to do research for them for no money, and don't build you up. So do not stick with a department or a professor who is not willing to help, there are always ones who are willing to help.
