Pros

My boss was great, the other staff were very friendly and willing to collaborate to solve any issues.

Cons

There really is no cons to working here. At least where I worked, the hours were good, the money was great, and the students were awesome.

CLAS: A great place to earn some extra money

Pros

Campus learning assisted services, or CLAS for short, is a great place to spend a few hours a week earning money while working through college. Also, it is one of the higher paying jobs on the UCSB campus. The management works well around your schedule (if you are insistent about it). Overall it is a great place to start.

Cons

As a tutor, you are pretty much left to your own devices. Other than a initial training session, there is little to no additional development. It really is up to you.
