Why waste your time?

Pros

You really don't have to do anything because there are no responsibilities and your can't clean when the gym is too busy.

Cons

You are bored and mistreated. The management actually grades each part of you work and gives you a score card. The card of course won't have more than a B on any one thing even for the best employees. There is absolutely no chance for really responsibility and even if you get the mediocre job of shift supervisor after three years of working there the pay increase is only 25 cents.

Pros

if you are a student they will work with your class and studying schedules. feel like not going to work because you have a test next morning? no problem... they are usually very flexible with your hours. if you work for the dining service you got free food, which is a nice bonus for a starving student :)

Cons

not very exciting; low pay; working with other students, in the sense if you like to work in a more professional environment you might not like this place.... although, it does depend on the department
