Pros

Up to date charting and technology

Cons

NICU specific. Terrible management - Lani Bowler. Unit is a dump. Standard of care is very low with bad outcomes. Would not recommend anyone to work here or have their baby here in the off chance they may require a NICU stay

Pros

High Acuity patients Maintain Skillset Job security

Cons

Too many patients in a day and not enough time to spend with them. Minimal admin time to manage InBasket and patient needs. Frequently need to juggle a full and complex patient schedule with urgent test results and care coordination. Have to use personal PTO to cover holidays and any time the clinic is closed due to circumstances outside of our control. (weather, power outages, etc) Annual performance Bonuses are now being determined by online patient feedback scores.

Pros

Great team with good coworkers and immediate management.

Cons

UCHealth as an organization is very corrupt. You're put in situations to turn against your co workers. For example your salary increase and performance review is not only based on how you perform but how the hospital performs and how your co workers perceive you. They also severely under pay their employees.
