Overall an easy, flexible job that pays well for students. I had fun there.
Cons
Because it's an easy job a lot of students are lazy. They hire some people who are not able to tech troubleshoot. Career staff are overworked because of budget cuts, and can't or don't pay enough attention to student staff. This job will NOT help you land a career position at UCLA.
They know understand that you are a student and need time off of work during particular times during the year, such as before/during finals. The hours are very flexible. The staff is friendly and encouraging. You get the opportunity to work with other high achieving students your age. The pay is great and the work is interesting and not stressful.
Cons
There is a limit on how little or many hours you can work each week. It can also be difficult to transition into a full time position since employers assume you are going to quit when you graduate.
