Pros

- Tuition fee remission - Hours per week does not usually end up being the twenty hours that it is supposed to be -Access to departmental copy machine

Cons

-workload really depends on the professor of that course (can be a lot, can be less). Some professors really take on a lot of the work load while others give the TAs free reign when it comes to grading. -grading papers and exams can take up a lot of your time

Pros

I gained valuable experience teaching in a 3td grade classroom. There were seminars in which all interns and a supervisor got together and discussed teaching methods and what they observed in the class room. Everyone was very kind and supportive! CA Teach also offers resources to help their interns earn their credentials after the program if they with to continue with teaching (which I personally did not).

Cons

Travel to school via bus was not reimbursed directly. There were no perks, promotions, or benefits, which is to be expected since this is an internship with the program.
