UCSF Health reviews

Pay is low, morale is low, toxic workplace, unionized jobs mean the wrong people stay for years and the right people leave, revolving door of supervisors. No supervisor is around long enough to develop a positive lasting relationship & change with. Not enough opportunities to grow - in the three years I’ve been working here I have gotten one performance review (supposed to be done annually). Can be incredibly discouraging for someone with ambition who is trying to start their career. After having worked here for three years and having consistently helped management with side roles, I have never received a non-unionized raise or promotion. After applying to an internal role that I am well qualified, I did not get on offer - was very disheartening and does not make me feel at all valued as an employee of this UCSF department.

Huge hospital which can be a plus or negative depending on how you look at it.
