      Pros

      Great company! It still feels like a small family owned business yet it is large and strong. Good place to work over all. Supervisors I have worked with are patient and non abusive.

      Cons

      Pay is a little low for field adjusters. Supervisors tend to manage files instead of managing their people, They often promote those who do a poor job just to get them out of the way. The good adjusters get all of the crap dumped on them because they don't complain. Still multi-line adjusters so makes work a lot more difficult to keep up. Lack a good training department.

      Pros

      amazing training program. Growing company with lots of opportunity. Many of the employees have there for many years which shows they are very committed to the company.

      Cons

      probably more flex scheduling which they are working on.

      Pros

      You won't find a more laid-back, conservative and easy going insurance company to work for. There is no micro-managing at all and both executive and middle management allow their employees to get the work done. UFG is not afraid to spend a some money to make things happen.

      Cons

      The only con would have to be the computer system. Very slow and not user-friendly.
