Pros

I was just promoted to Principal Program Manager in our engineering/ cloud group. The management on both my previous and new teams were very supportive of my move. They worked together and with me to make the transition smooth for everyone. The opportunities to learn new technology and collaborate with many teams in engineering, cloud, and other areas are the greatest part of working for UKG. The One Team concept is not just an idea, but actually put into practice. Asking for help or asking questions is encouraged and everyone is happy to assist. I love that the company's priority is on the UKrew (the employees). We have great benefits (100% paid insurance), flexible time off, access to technical training, and so many other things. UKG's involvement in the community is amazing. From large sponsorships of sports teams and the arts to local events. I love seeing the UKG sign at sports venues. Last year, I volunteered at a local high school where I spoke to the students about what I do and participated in their Science fair. UKG sent me swag to hand out to the kids. What a fun day! The daily work is interesting, challenging, and always changing. Plus knowing that what I do impacts thousands and thousands of people gives me a connection and makes my work matter.

Cons

The one con is that we are growing so fast and are unable to hire candidates to fill positions at a rate that meets the demand. There is a lot of work to do!
