      Everything changed. We were acquired by a mediocre company and it brought Ultimate down with them.

      Benefits are still the same - 45% match, paid healthcare. unlimited PTO

      Cons

      Micromanaging, cutting people and costs everywhere, very low salaries, and their new compensation packages are a joke when compared to any other company (even the ADPs, Workdays, etc). Growth is limited. The EE morale is the worst it has ever been. They paint this "Our purpose is people" idea, but in reality their purpose are profits first, people last.

      Great benefits which make it hard to leave.

      Cons

      Environment is very toxic. Top management has never done the job therefore do not understand the responsibility or the work. They only want results without asking what the employees need. Leads and managers are being pushed to get results done without getting any help, which leads to their frustration and micromanaging. Customers have complained more than they have praised UKG. People are quitting literally everyday! If you apply here make sure and read the most recent reviews.

      Crab-in-a-barrel mentality among middle management Lots of folks just trying to get that next promotion before they move on to the next job Tenured people are shoved aside to make room for outside leaders who talk a good game but are incompetent Results don’t seem to matter .. good or bad.
