Toxic Culture and No Future Here

Pros

A handful of talented coworkers who genuinely try to support one another despite the environment. You’ll quickly learn how to handle stress and dysfunction, though that’s more survival than growth. Not worth it in the long run.

Cons

Toxic Culture: The environment is dominated by micromanagement, fear, and finger-pointing. Collaboration is nonexistent; politics and blame take precedence over teamwork. No Growth Opportunities: There’s little to no investment in professional development. Career advancement is nearly impossible (unless you're in with the right people), and creativity or fresh ideas are shut down rather than encouraged. Poor Compensation: Salaries and benefits lag far behind industry standards, with little recognition for hard work or achievements. High Turnover: Talented people are leaving in droves, and it shows. Morale is at an all-time low, and those who remain are overworked and burnt out. Constant Stress: Unrealistic expectations and lack of trust create an environment where you’re constantly on edge, with no room for balance.

Pros

Great benefits (unmatched) Great people

Cons

If you like working for bloated bureaucracies, UKG is the place for you!! The ratio of VPs to knowledge workers is probably one of the highest in the industry. They have a “too big to fail” mentality, which means no one is held accountable for failures in Product, support or sales. They’ve lost so much top talent in the past few years and no one in management is even acknowledging the issue because they’re protected by the layers. They’ve made several acquisitions in the past few years and with each one, they’ve eroded their core identity and core competencies. AI is the future they’re betting on? But data only exists to create meaningful insights when customers and prospective customers want to put their people on your platform.

Cons

Upper management detached and exhibit lack of empathy and caring towards employees. Low trust and transparency in upper management messaging and whether they can successfully lead the company. Too much turn over in upper management over the last few years. Employee inspiration, motivation, enthusiasm and moral at an extreme low point.
