Not always able to execute on product vision. Teams are formed and disbanded with little thought, and there is a slight obsession with new technologies and methodologies, despite little evidence of their efficacy.

Conservative approach to technology and risk. Don't expect to be on the cutting edge of a technology. Produces mediocre software and interface, not innovative or ground breaking. The direction provided by the executive level is good and inspirational, but there is an extremely dysfunctional middle-management layer... so very little of the goodness from the upper levels actually trickles down to the bulk of the engineering staff. That's the day-to-day reality of working at Kronos.
