Great concept of "People First" but misguided on how to implement.
Pros
My peers are some of my closest friends. Lots of fun to be had if you're in the right department. Great benefits. Tons of free food, lunches, and events.
Cons
Many managers have no business leading anything. There is no need to do a good job here. Just make sure you suck up to the right people and make every move to benefit yourself if you want to succeed. The "People First" slogan applies to only material things like benefits, but not to your workload or daily atmosphere. The Fortune "Best Place to Work For" is completely misleading because it is determined by our HR exec sending a pretty care package to Forbes and selected people filling out a survey. Whatever you do, don't mess up. Ever seen Office Space? If you mess up, you will hear it from eight different bosses (or people who think they are your boss). Also, you spend millions on events every year, but won't fund a Christmas party? We have to raise that ourselves? Seriously?
