Pros
I have carved out a good niche, and am reasonably compensated. I think this company can weather a downturn. I value stability in a job.
Cons
Very heavy handed management style. Lots of politics and bureaucracy. It is difficult to get what you need to do your job; equipment, software, access to resources, etc. ever little request has a long approval line, and large requests are nigh impossible to get satisfied, unless what you need is named as missing for some corporate initiative and catches the attention of the top brass.
