Pros
Culture of Authenticity, top sales folks make a lot of money
Cons
They restructured, added more staff (shrinking sales territories), and then, six months later, laid off 14% of the workforce via email. UKG lacks a clear identity or value proposition, leaving everyone scrambling without direction trying to hit an insane quota (highest in the industry by far). No one could clearly explain what sets UKG apart. Clients endure miserable implementations, and the only positive references come from folks that went live pre merger. I was aggressively recruited, leaving a well-paying job behind. "You'll always leave money on the table with a career change, but you'll make plenty here." Don't be fooled. Few people meet their quotas or make their OTE in the SDM/BDM space. Those who do succeed often sell above their segment and are praised for it on team calls, but if you try to do the same, you are required to pass the deal to another team.
