Great University to work for

Tuition remission is a good tradeoff since you won't be paid well. In other words, don't expect private industry salary from a state-run university. Nevertheless, feel free to take advantage of tuition remission benefits, but read the fine print very closely to make sure you won't be charged taxes on your tuition remission benefit (unless you can afford receiving a partial pay check for several weeks at a time).
