Pros

Public mission, union representation for all employees, pretty good salaries for support staff.

Cons

Nobody is held accountable here for anything. Low performers have been here for decades, HR mainly pushes paper around, and there is no way to reward good performance. Inequities with office space are getting out of hand.

Pros

Good academic environment. The staff were very friendly and caring. Students are hard working people. Most of them work full/part-time jobs while getting their education done. It was a great experience to work there.

Cons

Parking and all the constructions that are taking place at the moment.

Pros

Most diverse university in New England; revitalized campus with new building sprouting everywhere; growing enrollment.

Cons

Some of the older facilities are ugly or out of date, the parking situation is awful (having to remote park and take a shuttle to campus adds 30 minutes to commute).
