Pros
The benefit package is one of the best around. Also, I have not met a staff member who didn't show respect for their patients or other staff members. The value of teamwork is definitely shown daily to me. Upper levels of Management listen to their employees. My unit has monthly outings where we can all get together and de-stress if we need to. The hospital itself is on the cutting edge of technological procedures and cures for diseases. Many people from all over Eastern and Central North Carolina utilize the services they provide.
Cons
The employer is in the healthcare field and operates 24 hours a day/365 days a year. You can be called in at anytime to work. There is a fee to park on campus. However, there is free parking but you have to allow extra time to be at your work area on time.
