Pros

The pay is good once you have reached top scale, or you have more then six years driving exp. Also the vacation time and personal time is good at the 5 year mark and gets even better at the 10 year mark since you acrue hours per pay period.

Cons

It long hours when you work and the managment staff is more concerned about there budget and christmas bonus then maintaing the equipment you need to do your job efficiently. Most case communication between managment and the employee's is low except when you or somebody else does something wrong and within a hour everbody in the company knows about it, and the only way it could have been made public is by management.

Pros

Good place to learn how not to run IT.

Cons

Everyone has a rah rah attitude and you are the greatest employee until they decide to outsource you and everyone else. In the case of the W. Bridgewater, MA office, we trained three to four replacement groups (including WiPro, Infosys and Keane) and then they decided to build a huge building in India and hire there - got to train them too.

Pros

Used to be a nice place to work until all the outsourcing began. Benefits are decent but that's about the only positive left. The banner-level companies are decent to work for, but SuperValu is taking more control everyday and the banners have lost their say. If you can brown nose and be lazy you'll go far in this company.

Cons

More concerned about saving money and shipping jobs to India and third party companies. Pay is well under market. No longer is there job security. They should rename the company to Albertsons since they've basically taken over. Upper management is dishonest and unprofessional. Keep your opinions to yourself, they'll tell you that you have a say but you really don't.
