No Work/Life Balance

Pros

Good health benefits, pay is okay. There are a lot of promotion opportunities but it is due to turnover being so high

Cons

Hourly employees work extremely long hours with no end times to their shifts. High turnover. Management is unwilling to change. They always use the phrase " It's just the nature of the business." Annual increases are extremely low. Upper management does not care about hourly or salaried employees. Salaried employees are taken advantage of and are also working extremely long hours.

Pros

Tries to make a positive impact on the communities they operate in!

Cons

Company is getting way too top heavy, caring less and less about employees, using 20% pay increase rule to move people within to more demanding jobs and not pay them adequately--then hire outside person for way more money= very lopsided pay scale. Management has no work -life balance! Also, bad communication and hardly any accountability!

Pros

Benefits are okay, but they change every year.

Cons

Worst company in the WORLD to work for, let me tell you why. They have no respect for their employees. You come in one day with a set schedule, the next day they inform you your schedule is changing. For example: hours was 11pm-7am now 3am-11:30am. Starting next week hours switched to 4am-12pm. They don't care that you have a family!!!!! The pay sucks, as a fork lift operator you're supposed to make between $17- $20 an hour, not at UNFI or Haddon House, the pay is $11 if that, with a certified certificate. They don't give you proper training nfor their company, your thrown in and either you get not or not.
