Utterly humiliating, racist, concentration-camp type of work atmosphere.

Pros

You get to engage in training at local function halls and outside programs that offer additional enhancement to your skills sets.

Cons

It can be very difficult to work here if you are not the type who is infatuated by attention, if you are not the type who likes to gossip and socialize, and if you are not a grunge type mentality. Perhaps the most difficult part to face with this Company is it's lack of human decency treating others with respect: Expect to be micromanaged to eat lunch at your cube when need be and to restrain yourself from using the rest room unless management gives you permission and frees you from possible reprimand and being written up on your performance reviews.

No support. No incentive.

Pros

Good job during bad economy.

Cons

Work RIDICULOUS hours. Especially supervisors who are salary! Supervisors have been working 15-20 hour days, for weeks on end, with no bonus, or incentive... Payroll will push your payday if it falls anywhere near a holiday. IE. Labor Day was Monday, payday was supposed to be Thursday, but who cares, we'll pay you A DAY LATE anyways and use the holiday as an excuse. Hope you didn't need to pay your mortgage on autopay!

Pros

Discounts on products, flexible schedule (depending on the department you work for, location, and manager), some room for growth opportunities,

Cons

Lack of communication, some departments/managers are cliquey and only hire their "friends", lost focus of the company and cater to supermarkets and mass market while ignoring independent retailers, pay isn't great
