Pros

I enjoy working with this company because the atmosphere is very fun and busy. The customers are great and my co-workers are very nice. We have a policy that states we must be professional, friendly and respectful towards other employees. Our management and HR within our store is very supportive. I really enjoy the overall atmosphere here.

Cons

On the flip side, hours for part timers can be difficult to maintain as there are always new cashiers being hired and the hours are spread amongst everyone. And getting full time is near impossible as a cashier. There are a few "old timers" from back in the day when Supervalu used to hire full time. But they're a "dying breed". Other than that, I find this to be a fun place to work.

Pros

One of the greatest things about this company is how they treat their employees. Everyone feels like they matter here. I've worked here full time for close to 3 years, and yes, it's warehouse work. Sometimes it can feel repetitive and sometimes the shifts can be pretty long. But as far as warehouse work, it doesn't get much better. The pay is better than most similar companies in my area as well.

Cons

Work gets quite repetitive and sometimes shifts are up to 12+ hours long. Most of the time though, you work 4 10 hr shifts, which is pretty good.

Pros

Enjoyed working with the people in the warehouse. If everyone is in a good mood, days could fly by without feeling like you were even working. Decent hourly pay, plenty of opportunity to earn overtime. Fairly flexible with work hours.

Cons

Uncomfortably cold work area (warehouse), not a place you would want to work at for too long. No room for salary negotiating, raises were small. Workforce is more street smart than business smart, and can be very unprofessional.
