Pros

Nice coworkers in certain departments, easy going in certain departments. The company has good roots, and has solid executive leaders. This company is here for the long haul.

Cons

The design work is not fun to work on, excel sheets, data merge and production are 95 percent of the job. Very little creative work, even in the good departments. Not enough time to manage projects. Company is business to business, so design isn't appreciated or fairly compensated. Start pay for designers and photographers is horrible, not a livable wage. The design work is unattractive, lacking in concept, and the final design approval comes from business managers who have terrible design judgement. Working from home isn't excepted, company in general is outdated in this area by 10 years, they don't even have meet me meetings. Caveman process, when it comes to day to day business practice. Oh and the benefits are poor compared to other local companies.

Pros

Great co-workers and suppliers to work with. Was there over 10 years, learned a lot (had to to survive).

Cons

Executive team completely out of touch. Workload overwhelming, those who can-get more to do. No internal "customer service" between depts, most likely due to their workloads. Could not be promoted without relocating.

Pros

UNFI has some wonderful employees that will go out of their way to help you succeed. Good benefits, average pay and good ethics. I enjoyed my time there.

Cons

No company supplied cell phone, computers, etc. to do your expected job.
