      Pros

      Worked my way up from entry level to management, and know many others who did the same. Tried out a variety of job functions to learn about the business.

      Cons

      Grocery isn't the sexiest field out there; you're not likely to wow anyone at a cocktail party with stories about working here!

      Pros

      Leadership is probably the best that it has been in awhile. Current CEO tries to connect with the employees but often fails as he does not understand the difference between his salary and those of the vast majority who work for the company. I will give him kudo's for trying!

      Cons

      There use to be a lot of pros that have now turned cons. It was like a family among the employees and family always came first. Not anymore. Since the purchase and sale of Albertson's it has become a cut-throat business. Along with this change came the loss of company loyalty and the willingness to work hard. You are not appreciated. 401K is basically gone.
