Pros

I was allowed to work remotely

Cons

This company profited during the pandemic, perform stock buyback, and then horribly mismanaged a technology overhaul. Subsequently, they had to go through a round of layoffs where they outsourced many of their system responsibilities. As a result they had some recent difficulties with their main customer – whole foods. You may have seen where the shelves were empty… I was laid off and the severance package that I received was pathetic. They also did questionable things like offering “unlimited PTO“… Anyone who is in the industry will know that these companies book the statistics and understand that when people are offered unlimited PTO it’s quite typical that most people underutilise this option versus having earned PTO

Pros

Work from home was one of the best thing they have, they changed the rules recently as well. So it is not pro anymore

Cons

*Too many changes * Low salary * High deductible health insurance * Management favors people they know * Does not seems friendly * Less growth opportunity

Pros

Independence, younger, motivated developers to work with. Once you know what you're doing, you're the freedom to do whatever you need to do to get the job done.

Cons

A bit understaffed, it can be hard to get face time with someone when you have questions or issues. Starting is severely painful in getting logins working and getting up to speed.
