Pros

Incredibly meaningful work, helping children in need across the globe. Exciting and a lot of room to contribute in a major way to important global initiatives.

Cons

Due to UNICEF being UN, funding is utilized for programs that support children and funds for overhead that would support staff are used very judiciously. To that end, you may find yourself doing the job of more than one person regularly for years.

Pros

The team at UNICEF was amazing! everyone was kind and welcoming and easy to get along with. Even when swamped with work, working with great colleagues makes all the difference

Cons

operational teams did not grow at the same rate as revenue-generating teams, so back office team at time were overloaded, as they supported many teams throughout the organisation.
