Pros

Knowledgeable staff and supervisors Good social package (pension, medical insurance, maternity cover, etc.) Provision of constant training for staff (at least once a year) Overall good salary

Cons

Bureaucracy!!!!!! It is almost impossible to be promoted even if you are genius and going extra mile in your job national staff's salaries 8-9 times lower than international staff's salaries. Even though national staff doing 80% of the work be prepared to overwork and work extra hours for free

Pros

Great feeling of helping children and families. Clear tasks, good atmosphere, respect of valiues and human dignity.

Cons

A lot of procedures and documentation regarding some things that maybe can be done without it. Every country has different context and sometimes it is hard to show to partner organizations that procedures are important.
