Would not recommend this company to anyone
Pros
-good discounts -small, personal boutique feel teams -newer company= rapid expansion -good experience, in that I know exactly what kind of company I don't want to work for ever again.
Cons
-growing pains due to it being so new, communication from Spain HQ to NYC HQ and then down to stores can be very confusing, lost in translation, making directions sometimes hard to follow. -product is cheap and falls apart easily, making it difficult to create loyal customer base, especially at the price point. -Gossip is rampant throughout the company, unprofessionalism is at its peak. -No boutique managers has lasted more than 2 years because of big gap in communication between stores, district managers, and corporate. This make job security impossible, especially because Lower Management are constantly blocked from communicating to HR or Higher Management. -Even if there is progress and LY are met, you will be blamed not for not meeting impossible goals set by corporation, which does not take into account the company wide lack of effort to broaden brand knowledge to the public. -No structure for advertising the company, Sales associate are responsible to "get the name out there", retain clients, and seduce new clients to purchase, without given any of the necessary tools or help. -Managers and Assistant mangers are glorified sales associate with more responsibility and slightly more pay, there is absolutely no power, everything has to be approved by higher management, including returns or any sort of discounts.
