Benefits and Experience. The salary is mediocre but the benefits are extremely competitive. Working outside of the operations environment is typically low-stress. There is plenty of responsibilities to learn and your perspective will likely encompass the entire organization's structure and job functions.
Cons
The scope of the work can at times be overwhelming. Management has poor solutions and recently has been trying to expend roles and responsibilities of certain functions past reasonable limits. Upward mobility is limited and there is a lot of favoritism.
