      Pros

      Steady paycheck. Free education. Free healthcare. Travel the world. Many chances at truly once in a lifetime experience. In the military many things will become a bit of a norm for you, however, many of your old friends and family couldn't imagine doing the things you've done.

      Cons

      Perpetual do more with less attitude is making it tough to maintain a balance between work and life. Creating longer hours to support the ever growing mission with less and less people to perform the job functions.
