Pros

Autonomy to run your pharmacy as you choose within left and right limits. Working with both Soldiers and civilians expands your management skills

Cons

Long hours. May be difficult to choose your location initially. Working with civilians and the union can be challenging and take up valuable time.

Pros

Had steady pay, housing, meals, free uniforms, free health care, most holidays off, traveled the US and Europe/Far East, met lots of people, challenging

Cons

Might work long hours (not a typical 9-5 job) and have weekend/holiday duties. Working conditions may be harsh - sweltering swamp, hot desert, frigid mountains with little to no human comforts.
