      Pros

      The Army will always push you to test your limits. Once you get comfortable in one job they will move you on to increasing responsibility and test how well you perform. This constant change makes you very capable to deal with almost any situation.

      Cons

      The Army is not a career, it is a lifestyle. The Army's demands will always come before yours or your families. Be ready to spend alot of time away and be ready to deal with alot of stress. Alot of stressful situations are out of your control but you must react appropriately to manage it effectively.

      There tends to be a Do More with Less Mentality Currently the High Paced Environment Creates Stress on employees and family Leadership not always aware of development programs available to workforce or reluctant to share in fear of losing workforce for training.

      Pros

      Obviously, serving our nation is something to be proud of in and of itself. A steady paycheck with many benefits.

      Cons

      Consistency among senior leadership varies wildly from platoon to platoon, company to company, and even battalion to battalion. One day you may love where you work, but you may hate it the next.
