Pros

The Army is a wonderful team to be a part of. No day is the same, the challenges are endless, yet days are always rewarding. Very few occupations match the benefits; comprehensive medical/dental, housing, cost of living allowances, and 30 days paid annual vacation. The level of responsibility an Officer has is also unmatched

Cons

Long hours, unpredicable days, many days away from home, and danger. It is not for everyone. it is a lifestyle and absolute commitment. However, if you like this sort of thing, you will experience a completely rewarding career.

Pros

You receive a paycheck every 1st and 15th of the month. You are given 30 days a year to take off and those days can be rolled over into following years up to 60 days.

Cons

Simply the military sucks the life out of you especially if you are a GOOD leader. I emphasize good leader because 8 out of 10 NCO's/Officers suck at there job and are only there to do their 20 years and get out. Usually good leaders will get out and find civilian sector jobs that actually respect them.
