Pros

You get to play with guns, big trucks, and all sorts of other neat toys every now and then depending on your job.

Cons

Many of the current senior personel think that the best way to help someone with a problem is to try to kick them out.

Pros

Great Benefits and Vacation time.Additionally, career advancement initially is very rapid. In 5 years my salary has nearly doubled and I have moved twice to jobs with more responsibility.

Cons

Hours can be very long and life as a company grade officer in a wartime army is hard. The job puts a lot of stress on families and doesn't provide much stability within a particular community. The Army is also notoriously bad at managing talented officers. It can only use the power of luck to place the right person in the right job.

Pros

Good benefits and proud place to work. Helpful for getting a job once you get out. best part is the free medical

Cons

zero respect given to lower enlisted and there is no information passed down the chain of command. most days simply consist of pointless work just to keep you busy.
