Pros

The Army is a very good place for those who dont know what they are doing in life or if they have no other options. Job Stability, Family Security, and good people to work with.

Cons

It is not a decision to take lightly. but if you wish to decide beaware of the recruiter because they will say and do anything to get you in. this doesnt make the army bad it just makes them bad. You must also realize that you are Sacraficing famly time for family security. So weigh your options Family Security means nothing if your wife just up and leaves 6monthes after you sign because she didnt realize what you were getting into

Pros

You have the opportunity to serve your country and work with others that serve their country as well. Job security is guaranteed, there is no way you can lose your job in the Army. Pay is decent and promotions are guaranteed. Taking care of Soldiers is definitely the best part of this job.

Cons

No matter how hard you work, you will be promoted right along with everybody else. You will make the same amount of money too. Family life is pretty much non-existent. Your superior officers are typically power hungry individuals or people that would not make it in the civilian world. For every one good officer, there are probably twenty bad.

Pros

-benefits ar excellent -vacation time is plentiful -training is great -decent pay. great pay for kids with no experience and average highschool performance

Cons

commanders dictate the unit's "corporate culture" for good or bad. no quitting deployments can destroy marriages. i feel that those marriages were destined to fail anyway adn deployment simply served as a catalyst
