Pros

- great benefits - systematic promotions - opportunities to travel - educational opportunities - supportive chain-of-command makes the difference - lots of days off

Cons

- quality of job satisfaction entirely dependent upon interaction with chain-of-command - needs of the Army trump personal needs - poor pay compared to private sector

Pros

The best reasons to work at the ACS are to provide social services to the military community in a variety of ways. They offer social services as well as employment seminars and financial planning.

Cons

Although support staff works on many projects wiith managers, unless they are social workers there is little or no progression available. ACS is ran by the garrison which that control can vary a workers experiences.
