Pros

It is what it is. Uncle Sam gonna get his.

Cons

I mean, it's the Army. Toxic leadership. Leadership that thinks they're leaders when they're not.

Pros

Work-life balance is excellent. Performance reviews are done quarterly, so you never have to wonder if you are meeting the requirements of the role. There is a lot of flexibility to do on the job training in other areas. It's easy to pivot into new roles if you have an interest.

Cons

The operations tempo is high and ever-changing. You must remain vigilant at all times. They are completely solution-oriented. You will have little space for complaints, especially if you offer no solution. Occasionally the work is overwhelming due to how quickly things are changing in the operational environment.
